From Cleaned Waste to a Shared Living Space

My cousin and I decided to move in together because we couldn’t afford to live on our own. The price of rent in our apartments was just too much for us to handle, so we talked and came to the decision, and I think it was a good one. We’re pretty compatible, so we don’t fight a lot, and we’re doing better financially because of the shared living space. Before moving in, I had to hire a company that would do moving out cleaning for Singapore residents. My apartment had taken a lot of dirt over the years and needed to be heavily cleaned.

When I think about all of the times that I’ve had people over to my apartment, they’ve all ended with the apartment getting a new stain. Some people spill food or drinks on the carpet, some will leave prints on the wall, and some will just bring in their dirty shoes. It’s like these people don’t bother to take precaution before coming into my home, and yet, I still let them back in like a fool. I don’t know why I even bothered with inviting them over, but I can’t go back in time and change anything. I can only make sure they don’t do anything in our new apartment.

The apartment looked great again after the cleaning service did their job. I don’t think the apartment was even that clean looking when I first moved into it. It was like the walls had been freshly painted, even though I knew they hadn’t had anything done to them other than a thorough cleaning. I don’t know what kind of cleaning magic they were able to perform, but I liked it. I’d love to get them to come over to our new apartment if we decide to invite anyone over.
